What to Expect
When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at Pickrell Veterinary Clinic in Pickrell, NE have assembled a wonderful team of veterinary professionals to work with you to provide the best possible care for your pet. We have a comfortable, small town veterinary clinic with big time heart! Call (402) 673-4525 to schedule an appointment and we will find a time that is convenient for you.
Once a year, you should take your pet in for a health check-up. This will include a full physical exam and may include scheduling teeth cleaning if needed. Doctor Jennafer Glaesemann will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you can ask questions regarding your pet’s health, personal quirks, or about animals in general!
Please bring in any previous medical history you have of your pet when you first come to our vet clinic. It’s best to keep a journal of your pet’s health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts or any other changes, like changes in appetite or activity. If you have something like this, please share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Doctor Glaesemann can still work with whatever information you have.
In some circumstances, Doctor Glaesemann will refer you to the Blue Valley Veterinary Clinic in Beatrice for advanced diagnostic tests or further treatment. In some instances, she may recommend a board-certified veterinarian specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as neurology or orthopedic surgery.
Pickrell Veterinary Clinic accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover (usually), American Express (usually), CareCredit, and ScratchPay. Sometimes our card reader gets cranky with Discover and American Express, so it may be helpful to have a second form of payment handy. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
If you would like an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients’ needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Pickrell Veterinary Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into monthly installments. CareCredit is a health credit card – you can even use it with many dentists, optometrists, and other healthcare providers. You can either apply at our hospital online or over the phone or you can apply yourself online at www.CareCredit.com.
Highlights of the CareCredit program:
- Low Monthly Payments (3% of the Total Balance)
- Interest Free For 6, 12, or 18 Months
- Determine Approval in a Few Minutes
- No Annual Fee
Similarly, we are now accepting ScratchPay! ScratchPay is essentially a term loan program with flexible payment options, such as 30 days to 24 months. Some options are interest free while others have variable interest rates/APRs. Visit www.scratchpay.com to learn more. The application takes 2 minutes online and does not affect your credit score.
